The Kairos Foundation was formed as a community in 1976 by a group of Christian leaders residing in Argentina. Its main objective was the formation of disciples of Jesus Christ who would relate their faith to every aspect of life and particularly to their own professions. In 1987 the community was registered as a non-profit organisation called "Fundación Kairós". Its Interdisciplinary Center for Theological Studies (CETI) offers online and distance learning that integrates theological reflection with other areas of human knowledge.

Diplomatura en Desarrollo Integral de la Niñez y la Adolescencia - This program is made available to churches in Latin America by the Kairos Foundation and CETI together with Compassion International. The program has a duration of 2 years and is designed to equip men and women engaged in working with children and adolescents.
